docs(site): move the reopen page to the end of the sidebar and skip the app build for site-only changes (#53)
* ci: skip the app build for changes that touch only the documentation site

The site is already built and checked by publish-docs.yml, so running the
Windows and macOS builds for a site-only push or pull request only costs
runner time. main has no required checks, so the skipped workflow does not
leave a pull request waiting.

* docs(site): move "Reopening URLs with Preferis" to the end of the sidebar

Pages without sidebar_position sort after the numbered ones by file name,
which put the page between Profiles and Rules. Number every top-level page
and category so the order is explicit, and note in the site README that
new pages need a number in both languages.

Features

Preferis provides the following features:

  • Cross-platform support for Windows and macOS
  • Native settings and browser picker interfaces
  • Configuration syncing across devices through cloud storage such as OneDrive and iCloud
  • Automatic browser and profile detection
  • Flexible rules, including regular expressions

Configuration syncing is useful when you want to apply the same rules on multiple devices. It is designed for scenarios such as sharing settings between a Windows desktop and a macOS laptop while keeping the same rules on both.

Installation and usage

See the installation guide for installation instructions.

After installing Preferis, follow the Quick Start to get started.

Build & Development

To build the project, run the following command:

# on Windows
dotnet build .\build\Preferis.Build.proj
.\artifacts\win-x64\Preferis\Preferis.exe

# on macOS
dotnet build .\build\Preferis.Build.proj
./artifacts/osx-arm64/Preferis/Preferis.app/Contents/MacOS/Preferis
