tuios v0.8.4 is a fix release. It has no breaking changes. Some fixes are in the daemon, so start a new daemon after the upgrade.

Start a v0.8.4 daemon

The fixes to tuios xpanes -ss, the untrusted content fence and the herdr socket are in the daemon. To start a v0.8.4 daemon, run tuios kill-server after the upgrade. This closes every pane in every session, so save your work first.

Homebrew

Homebrew no longer shows a deprecation warning for the tuios casks. If you installed tuios from homebrew-core, run:

brew update && brew upgrade tuios

Coming from v0.8.2 or older

Read Upgrading to v0.8.3 first. That release changed the herdr variables and the scratch terminal keys.
